Odjidja set up a "Commission to inquire why Spiritual Churches grew rapidly in Ghana during the 1970s."  The commission 's report is mentioned in "Distinguished church leader essay - Healing a strained relationship between African Independent Churches and western Mission-founded Churches in Ghana" by the scholar Thomas Uduro.
