A multi-talented individual: pastor, builder, architect, teacher, tailor and the bedrock of the family.

Louisa Kai Ablorh, daughter of the Rev. Daniel Ablorh, of the Basel Mission Church of the Gold Coast, granddaughter of Catechist Paul Mohenu, famed traditional priest and one-time harasser of the Basel missionaries.

Paulo Mohenu, as he became known, was a convert of the Basel Mission Church and provided tremendous help for the spread of its work in the Gold Coast.

Mohenu's lineage holds the current stool at Abokobi, an area in the Accra region.

The Rev. W. T. Odjidja had eight children with Louisa Kai. The first was Docia and the last was Adolphus. Louisa died in 1914.

After her death, the Reverend married Johanna Teimle Tettey. They had two children - Alexander and Sophia.

In the household of the Reverend was Renetta, the daughter of his younger brother Isaac, whom he had adopted.
